    Privacy

The short version: your photos stay on your device. We never receive them, so we can't keep, sell or leak them.

    Do you upload my photos?

No. Every tool on this site runs in your browser. Your photos are read, converted and saved on your own device. There is no server that accepts images, and no copy of your files is ever made anywhere else. Here is how it works, and how to check.

Do you see the file names, location or camera details?

No. Metadata such as GPS location, camera model and dates is read on your device so tools like the metadata viewer can show it to you. It is never sent to us or to analytics.

    What do you collect?

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to learn which tools are useful. It records things like the page you opened, your rough country, your browser type, and simple events such as "a conversion finished, 3 files, JPG". Counts and timings are rounded into buckets. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, and we never send file names, image contents or photo metadata.

If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off until you say OK.

    Cookies and local storage

    • Google Analytics sets _ga cookies, only if analytics is allowed.
    • Your settings (quality and metadata choices, analytics choice) are saved in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. They never leave your device.
    • Offline cache. The site and its decoder are cached by your browser so tools load fast and work without a connection.

    Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and stop abuse. That data concerns page requests only; your photos are never part of any request.

    Links to maps

The metadata viewer can show a link to OpenStreetMap for a photo's GPS position. Nothing is loaded from OpenStreetMap unless you click that link yourself.

    Children

The site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
